Helen Miles

Director of Health Outcomes

Helen has extensive commercial and clinical experience that has been gained over 23 years working within the Pharmaceutical industry. Helen thrives on providing solutions based on innovation in service delivery to support and improve patient outcomes. Understanding the specific needs of the client, aligned with patient journey mapping that challenges current thinking is key to creating solutions that deliver outcomes at every stage of the product life cycle. Helen has experience of 27 product launches, has developed in excess of 100 clinical programmes internationally and has extensive knowledge of homecare and patient support services across a wide range of channels.

Gareth Davies

Group Commercial Director & Head of Communications Business Unit

Gareth has had a 20-year career in healthcare punctuated by the delivery of outstanding results. During his time at Takeda in a series of sales and marketing roles, he was integral to the development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies. These included the high profile and uniquely successful introduction of a game-changing key account management sales model, delivered through an outsourced contract sales provider. The new strategy delivered market leadership positions for the company’s cardiovascular and diabetes brands. He subsequently joined the provider, heading up their US operation where he worked to introduce innovative sales and clinical solutions before taking on responsibility for global marketing. Gareth joined Bionical in July 2016.

Dr. Peter Kennerley

Chief Executive Officer, EMAS Pharma

Throughout his time in the pharmaceutical sector Peter has held numerous senior posts with duties ranging from drug development to medical affairs for major as well as small pharma. He has brought multiple successful products to market both as blockbusters and as niche products. Peter has established drug safety processes and overseen successful regulatory procedures for a range of products from radiolabelled monoclonal antibodies to mast cell histamine release inhibitors and from glucoside inhibitors to proton pump inhibitors.

Jonathan Waring-Hughes

Global Head, Clinical Trial Services

Jonathan joined Bionical (then Ellis Pharma) in January 2013 to start our Clinical Trial Supply division. Jonathan provides a deep understanding of the clinical trial sector, delivering customized and unique solutions to our customers’ Clinical Trial Supply (CTS) and Named Patient Programs (NPP) challenges.  He is committed to providing access to the medicine patients require and driving innovation in unmet patient needs. 

Lisa White

Chief Medical Officer, EMAS Pharma

A UK qualified doctor with 17 years industry experience including senior management and director level roles in both large and small pharmaceutical companies, CROs and consulting. An anaesthetist by training a with experience in a broad range of therapy areas including oncology, respiratory medicine, anti-infectives, GI disorders, rheumatology and men’s and women’s health. Experience in pre and post marketing environment, including multiple primary and specialty care product launches, biologic product development, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, clinical operations and health technology appraisals.

Roseanne Day

Solicitor. Group Legal Director

A UK qualified solicitor, Roseanne began her legal career in private practice over 20 years ago, before moving in-house to develop and head up the legal department of a large pharmaceutical services company.  Ten years later, inspired and excited by the opportunity and challenge it posed, she was lured to Bionical.  With her in-depth pharma sector knowledge in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, along with her extensive experience in designing and implementing legal compliance programmes, she is ideally placed to head up the Legal function at Bionical.

Elly Rogers

Director of Digital

Elly has 15 years pharmaceutical and healthcare experience in a variety of sales, management and operational roles and within a number of different disease areas. With significant experience in the design and delivery of both commercial and clinical multi-channel projects, Elly works with our customers to ensure our digital solutions meet their core business objectives but critically, also meet the needs of their platform users to ensure delivery and measurement of project outcomes.

Dr. Emily Webber

Head of Insights

Emily is skilled at being able to quickly understand clients’ business objectives and, using proven research methods, uncover and interpret end user needs. Qualified with a first-class degree in Psychology and a PhD in the field of Human Computer Interaction, Emily is widely experienced in applying research techniques in both industry and academia, offering a unique combination of practical insight backed by academic rigour.
