Bionical Solutions promotes Becky Paul to Director of Digital Business Unit

New role created in response to significant business growth to meet international demand

Willington, UK, 26 May 2021 – Bionical Solutions, a leading provider of technology enabled engagement and healthcare services to global pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare companies and the NHS, today announced the promotion of Becky Paul to Director of its Digital Business Unit.

One of three service divisions, Bionical Solutions’ Digital Business Unit works with US, UK and international pharma clients to develop proprietary software platforms and tools to enhance engagement, patient experience and patient journeys.  Following a year in which the team has grown by 40%, Bionical Solutions has created the position of Business Unit Director for Digital to enable the team to continue meeting international demand.  Becky’s role will involve leading the operations and delivery of all teams, including the in-house development team, to continue the global success and growth seen within the Digital Business Unit.

Becky has over 15 years’ experience working in the healthcare marketing industry.  She held a number of positions within contract sales companies and agencies, latterly heading up multichannel operations with a team of over 100 remote eDetailers and Business Managers, before moving to Bionical Solutions in 2018.  As Client Services Director, Becky has successfully led the Account Management, Project Management and Insight teams within Bionical Solutions’ Digital Business Unit ensuring the division delivers quality solutions that meet the needs of international clients, healthcare professionals and patients. 

Responding to the increasing need for personalised, digital, patient-centric educational information and solutions, Bionical Solutions’ UK Digital team builds proprietary software for US, UK and international Pharma clients.  Using an insight-led approach, a team of in-house digital and healthcare experts design, develop and deliver tech-enabled solutions, such as MED Select™, and bespoke programs that support healthcare providers’ education and decision making, and identify patients with complex rare diseases. MED Select™, a platform that enables patient personalisation by therapy area and provides educational materials on treatments to enhance healthcare provider and patient dialogue in order to improve patient outcomes, is used in over 42 countries worldwide and accessed by more than 30,000 pharma sales representatives as well as healthcare providers and patients themselves through self-serve portals.  Increasing demand from public health, currently spanning over 170 NHS and Public Health organisations, for services that support the referral process and social prescribing, drives Bionical Solutions’ provision to monitor and track health outcomes and support patients with minimal touchpoints, ultimately aiming to reduce burden on the NHS and global Public Health organisations.
